Written below are guidelines on what I can and can't draw, and my Terms of Service and Agreement. Please read carefully before requesting.

SERVICE AGREEMENT

By commissioning me, you are Agreeing to the Terms of Service outlined below. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY FOR THE 【PASSWORD】. Requests without the password will not be accepted.document version for better reading format here.
 
 
Definition of Terms
Artist = Me, Kleine or “kleineshines”
Managers = people handling the payment processing matters for privacy and translation for Japanese clients etc. There are two managers involved behind the scenes.
Client = You, commissioner
 
 
I. GENERAL DISCLAIMERS- DISCUSSIONS ARE WRITTEN IN ENGLISH. The Artist mainly speaks English and we encourage discussing your request in English to avoid misunderstanding.-The Artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.- Disrespectful behavior towards the Artist will not be tolerated and the client’s commission will be cancelled without refunds if it ever occurs.- Commission prices are subject to change based on demand and time constraints.- The Artist is a college student and multiple delays in commissions will occur depending on the workload given. Rest assured, we will communicate the Artist’s schedule and complete the client's request as soon as we are given free time.- The Artist has the right to show the process via streaming on YouTube. However the commissioner may also request that their commission progress is hidden.
Rest assured, all live streams are set to private after streaming.- All commissioned work is for PERSONAL USE only. For merchandise usage, please refer to the commercial-use section.- REGARDING PRIVACY: STRICTLY NO RECORDING OF INFORMATION. Any names on payment platforms are confidential and must not be shared for harmful purposes like doxxing or stalking. The artist and managers will only use the client’s legal name for proof of payment and legal purposes. We delete records of the clients’ proof of payment records as soon as the commission is completed. The client is also expected to respect the privacy of the artist and their managers.
 
 
 
II. PAYMENT & FEES- All commissioned artwork is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of any reason.- PAY FIRST POLICY. The commissioner must pay 50% of the price to begin the commission as an initial payment and then pay the other 50% remaining payment after completion. Commissioners may also opt to pay full price upfront.- Payment is only accepted through Ko-fi or PayPal invoice directly. Local payment methods (Singapore) are accepted but will be processed through a manager to protect the artist's privacy.- FAILURE TO PAY AT LEAST 50% OF INITIAL PAYMENT TO START THE COMMISSION WITHIN THE WEEK AFTER INQUIRING A SLOT, the request will be placed under the "on-hold or unsure" column on the queue. After 3 weeks of no response or update from the client, I will have to FORFEIT THE SLOT and give it to another client.- Ghosting is prohibited and may lead to legal action. Only commission if you're able to meet payment commitments. We understand that clients might not be able to pay immediately. However, should payment issues arise, please communicate when the next payment is expected. 【00】- RESELLING of the commission is PROHIBITED.- Please do not make any profit from the commissioned work. If the client plans to sell the commission, the piece will fall under the commercial-use work category.
 
 
 
III. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS & RIGHTS- Clients must maintain professional conduct throughout the commission process.- Please reply promptly to ensure a smooth and faster process.- Write in a clear and concise manner when filling out your request.- Provide multiple clear VISUAL reference images of the character/subject. Written descriptions of Characters without a visual aid will not be accepted, and will require a 50 USD Character designing fee. To avoid additional fees, PowerPoint Presentations, Documents and PDF files with images are recommended.- Clients are responsible for any missing important details and clear descriptions/references they've failed to provide the Artist that affect the completion of the commission.- Since the Artist is working on multiple projects all at once, delays are bound to occur. If there's no response or progress on your Trello slot, it's the client's responsibility to remind the artist 2 weeks later.- Clients have the right to post my work on their own accounts- Clients must credit the artist, properly mentioning ‘kleineshines’ in posts, and cannot claim the artwork as their own creation.
 
 
 
IV. PROCESS & WORK SCHEDULE- Deadlines must be agreed upon prior to the start of the commission. Rush fees will be an additional 50 USD to put your slot on top priority.- Commissions will typically take about 1 week to 2 months to complete, depending on the complexity and volume of orders. If the artist goes beyond the time frame, we will inform the client ahead.- Working hours are 6 PM- 10 PM (GMT+8), only on weekdays. The artist is unavailable for work on weekends, important dates, and holidays.- The artist will show work-in-progresses via DM, email, or Trello throughout the commission process.- Default Resolution of the art is usually around A3 size (2480 x 3508 px) for printing convenience. The work may be slightly larger or smaller depending on the request.- We will send over a sketch for approval before continuing the commission.- Sketches and subsequent progress will be sent as low-res, watermarked images.- Clients are only given TWO(2) FREE REVISIONS during the SKETCH PHASE. Further revisions will be charged 20 USD per change. Revisions do not refer to corrections of an error made by the artist. 【KDVG】- CORRECTIONS refer to correcting a detail that the artist may have misinterpreted or forgotten. These will have no additional charge. Clear visual references and some notes are appreciated to prevent multiple revisions.- REGARDING CORRECTIONS, corrections do not refer to intentional stylistic choices of the artist. We do not accept corrections that involve change of the way the artist draws. This will count as REVISION, and will be charged accordingly.- REDRAWING OF PROGRESS WORK IN ANY FORM WITHOUT PERMISSION IS PROHIBITED. While this is appreciated to further clarify something, please ask first to draw over the sketches. It makes the commission process easier and faster if you explain clearly beforehand to avoid multiple revisions and corrections. This does not apply to circling a mistake to point out something.
 
 
 
V. COMMERCIAL USE (MERCHANDISING, COLLABORATIONS, etc)- For the case of hiring for Commercial Use commissions (collaboration work, animation, and merchandise, etc) we recommend that the client negotiates with us through the following email instead ([email protected])- The following items fall under Commercial Use and will require an additional usage fee:
• merchandise (acrylic keychains, shirts, etc.)
•Stream Assets that involve superchats
•Music Videos (MVs), Animated Promotional videos
•VTuber models
•Character Designs handled by the Artist- Promotional personal artwork for idols, corporate/indie VTubers and Streamers does not count as Commercial Use for as long as it is not sold as merchandise. This refers to the following:
• SNS header and icon
• Video Thumbnails
